College World Series 8 Games Today After Crazy Quartet Yesterday

The College World Series Super Regionals started yesterday with four games. There are eight today as all teams that are still alive are playing today. There are games today all over the country, although the furthest west is Austin, Texas.

West Virginia won yesterday in the Super Regionals of the College World Series. So did Troy, Ole Miss, and USC. The games begin on June 6 at 1100. All four of the series that played their first game yesterday will play their second game today. Also, four series begin today. Are you going to watch?

There were four games on June 5 in the College World Series Super Regionals. Ole Miss beat Auburn 6-4. They kept the theme of beating ranked teams. In this game, Ole Miss was leading 6-3 after six innings. So, this game was over relatively early.

USC also beat the number five-ranked Tar Heels from North Carolina. This game featured a furious comeback from the Trojans. They were losing 5-1 after five innings, but they scored five runs in the sixth inning and three runs in the seventh inning to win the game.

West Virginia held serve and destroyed Cal Poly 12-2. The Mountaineers jumped out to a three-run lead in the first inning, and then they scored five more in the fourth inning of the College World Series game in Morgantown. The sung again after this one.

Finally, Troy also destroyed Little Rock, 12-2, in this battle of Cinderellas. In this one, Troy scored five runs in the second inning to jump out to an early lead. They scored four more runs in the eighth inning to salt the game away.

There are eight games, all series, in the College World Series on June 6. We start with the four series that started yesterday. The game one losers will be looking to even things up.

The Auburn team, hosting and ranked fourth in the College World Series, will be looking for a win after losing game one to Ole Miss. This game will happen at 5 pm. North Carolina is ranked number five and finds themselves in the same boat. They dropped the first game to USC, and they look to even the series today at 2 pm.

Cal Poly looks to win a game in Morgantown. They are up against it and could lose today to a hot West Virginia team at 12 pm on June 6. Finally, Little Rock will look to win a game at Troy after dropping the first game 12-2. It was a little surprising that this battle of Cinderellas was so one-sided.

There are four series that are starting on June 6. Georgia will face Mississippi State in a battle of ranked teams at 1100. Georgia looks to leverage its skilled starting lineup. Oklahoma travels to the number 15-ranked Kansas Jayhawks. This game is at 6 pm. Oregon travels to Austin, Texas, to take on the Longhorns at 8 pm. This is also a battle of ranked teams. Finally, St. John’s will play at Alabama at 9 pm. It will be fascinating to see if the Redmen can win games in Tuscaloosa.
