He is coming off the best season of his career in 2024 with the Dallas Cowboys. He had 1,079 rushing yards and 2 rushing touchdowns. Dowdle was 15th in the league in carries and tied for 12th in rushing yards. Carolina Panthers Offseason Outlook
The Panthers ended the regular season on a high note due to the improved play of Quarterback Bryce Young. Carolina has followed it up by being active this offseason. Many of their marquee moves have been on the defensive side of the ball. A few of the players they signed are Defensive Tackle Tershawn Wharton and Safety Tre’von Moehrig. The Carolina Panthers also signed Cornerback Jaycee Horn to a massive contract extension.
Dowdle is slated to be the backup running back in 2025 to Chuba Hubbard. Carolina’s offense includes a few other big names like Wide Receivers Adam Thielen and Xavier Legette. Carolina’s offense will look to take a step forward with Dowdle in the fold.
