Buffalo has retooled its defense recently, and moving on from Miller is the latest in that series of events. The Bills gave contract extensions to Defensive End Greg Rousseau and Linebacker Terrel Bernard in recent days. All of these moves are being done so the Bills can defeat the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL Playoffs. Buffalo has been knocked out by Kansas City in the playoffs in four of the last five seasons.

Miller should have some suitors this offseason, even though his best days are clearly behind him. He will be 36 next season and can still be a key part of a contending team. Miller would be most successful as a pass-rush specialist at this point in his career.

Final Thoughts

The NFL world will be intently watching where Miller will play in 2025. Miller has illustrated he still has plenty left in the tank. With the right team in the right situation, he could turn back the clock once more.
