The Buffalo Bills and Defensive End Gregory Rousseau agreed to terms Saturday on a four-year $80 million contract extension. The contract reportedly includes $54 million in guaranteed money. Rousseau is coming off a great season. He had 54 total tackles and 8 sacks. He has been a solid piece for the Bills defense since entering the league in 2021. Will he continue being an integral piece for the Buffalo Bills as they look for a Super Bowl title?

Buffalo has had a busy offseason as they have re-signed three key players in hopes they can break through in the AFC. The Bills previously re-signed Linebacker Terrel Bernard and Wide Receiver Khalil Shakir. Even though Rousseau is a solid player, Buffalo still needs to do more to upgrade its defense this offseason. The Bills have been linked to many pass rushers this offseason including disgruntled Defensive End Myles Garrett. Garett has doubled down regarding his desire to not play another down for the Cleveland Browns.
Final Thoughts
The Buffalo Bills have been a contender for the past five seasons, but they have been unable to get past the Kansas City Chiefs. Buffalo has been sent home by the Chiefs in four of the last five postseasons. With MVP Quarterback Josh Allen as motivated as ever, the time is now for the Buffalo Bills to make a blockbuster move. Their current roster has consistently shown an inability to get past the Chiefs.
