Baltimore Ravens vs Cleveland Browns Week 6 Preview

Andre Szmyt kicked a 37-yard field goal with 10 seconds remaining to lift the Cleveland Browns past the Baltimore Ravens 13-10 on Sunday at Huntington Bank Field, completing a fourth-quarter comeback after trailing by 10 points at halftime.

The Browns improved to 4-2 with the win, erasing a performance in which they were out-gained 96-7 early in the game and had less than 50 yards of total offense at one point, a mark Cleveland had not hit since 2025, according to Bleacher Report. Baltimore’s Derrick Henry led all rushers with 58 yards on 17 carries, but the Ravens could not add to a 10-0 lead they built in the first quarter.

How Cleveland Browns Beat Ravens 13-10

Baltimore struck first when Tyler Huntley found Josh Cuevas for a 2-yard touchdown pass with 8:11 left in the first quarter, then added a 34-yard Tyler Loop field goal with 4:37 remaining in the period to make it 10-0. The Ravens held that lead at halftime and still led by 10 before Cleveland’s offense found any rhythm.

Andre Szmyt got the Browns on the board with a 48-yard field goal 7:48 into the third quarter, cutting the deficit to 10-3. Cleveland did not find the end zone until the fourth quarter, when Audric Estime scored on a 2-yard run with 8:33 left to tie the game at 10-10. Szmyt then delivered the winning kick as time expired, a 37-yarder that sealed the 13-10 final.

According to Bleacher Report, Cleveland had just 113 yards and six first downs by the fourth quarter, showing how much the late rally mattered. The Browns entered the game having allowed a league-high 24 sacks this season, and Deshaun Watson was sacked five times for 20 yards lost, yet he avoided turnovers and did not throw an interception.

Top Performers

Watson finished 16-of-26 passing for 164 yards without a touchdown or interception. Jerry Jeudy led Cleveland’s receivers with four catches for 69 yards, while Jaleel McLaughlin paced the ground game with 41 yards on nine carries. Estime added 19 yards and the go-ahead touchdown on nine attempts.

For Baltimore, Huntley completed 19 of 31 passes for 165 yards and the lone touchdown, with Zay Flowers hauling in six receptions for 66 yards. Henry’s 58 rushing yards led both teams on the ground, and Huntley added 28 yards on five carries of his own. The Ravens committed Baltimore’s only turnover of the game, a fumble, and finished 6-of-16 on third down.

What It Means

The win pushed Cleveland to 4-2, matching Baltimore atop the AFC North standings alongside the Ravens, who also sit at 4-2 after the loss. Bleacher Report noted that the last time Cleveland was positioned this well in the division this late in a season was 2014, a notable marker for a franchise that entered Week 6 at 3-2 after a loss to New York the previous week.

Pittsburgh and Cincinnati both sit at 3-2, keeping the AFC North tightly bunched through six weeks. The Browns’ defense held Baltimore to 1-of-2 in the red zone and forced the Ravens’ only giveaway of the game, both factors that kept Cleveland within range for its late rally.

What’s Next

Cleveland and Baltimore both carry 4-2 records into their next games as the AFC North race continues. The Ravens’ next matchup and the Browns’ next opponent will be announced as the league finalizes Week 7 scheduling.
