Sounders Sporting KC recap: how Seattle rallied

André Luiz put Sporting Kansas City ahead in the 44th minute, finishing with his left foot after Stephen Afrifa deflected a clearance, according to Fox 13 Seattle.

Sebastian Gomez, a 20-year-old on loan from Tacoma Defiance, tied it early in the second half after entering as a halftime substitute. Jordan Morris slipped past the defense and played the ball back for Gomez to finish, his first MLS goal.

Roldan won it in stoppage time. Morris sent a through ball on a counterattack, and Roldan’s finish deflected off Kansas City’s Wyatt Meyer before going in. The Sounders’ official recap credits Roldan with his fifth MLS goal of the season.
