Senators vs Bruins: Stutzle strikes early
Stutzle scored short-handed at 7:39 of the first period, then added an unassisted goal less than two minutes later. He set up Drake Batherson’s goal early in the second period before Michael Amadio made it 4-0.
James Hagens scored Boston’s only goal in the third period. Ottawa outshot the Bruins 24-19, and neither team scored on four power-play opportunities.
Two Ottawa goalies share the win
Linus Ullmark made 10 saves over two periods. Samuel Ersson stopped eight shots in the third, while Boston’s Jeremy Swayman finished with 20 saves.
