Minnesota Twins Continue Tremendous Play

The Minnesota Twins are hotter than any team in Major League Baseball. They won their 13th straight game yesterday with a 7-0 drubbing of the Milwaukee Brewers. Minnesota’s play against the Brewers has been great. They are in the midst of a 33-inning scoreless streak. In Minnesota’s series against Milwaukee, they have not surrendered a run.

The last run the Minnesota Twins surrendered was in the third inning of Wednesday’s game against the Baltimore Orioles. Minnesota is on the precipice of franchise history. They need four more wins to tie the franchise record for consecutive wins and six more scoreless innings to tie the team record. Will the Minnesota Twins keep stifling opponents?

Minnesota Twins Season Summary

Minnesota is in second place in the American League Central with a 26-20 record. The team’s offense has been mediocre. They are 16th in batting average, 19th in home runs, and 17th in runs scored. Center Fielder Byron Buxton leads the team in many offensive categories.

As could be expected, Minnesota’s pitching staff has led the ballclub in 2025. They are third in the league in ERA, seventh in opposing batting average, and third in WHIP. A prolonged scoreless streak will send a team shooting up the pitching rankings. Starting Pitcher Joe Ryan has gotten off to a strong start. He is 13th in the league in ERA, 11th in strikeouts, and 2nd in WHIP.

Final Thoughts

The Minnesota Twins will look to continue dominating the Milwaukee Brewers in the final game of their three-game set this afternoon. Minnesota is playing tremendously. They will look to keep flying high for as long as they can.
