He is known as a playoff performer, but the team did not make the Playoffs.

His contract is expiring after this season. Kyle Palmeri is also on an expiring contract. He could help a Stanley Cup-contending team and is a candidate to get traded if the Islanders struggle. A long-time member of the team is also an established veteran who could help a contending team. Casey Cizikas could be on the move.
