The Kraken vs Oilers score was 3-1 on Saturday night at Rogers Place, and Connor McDavid had a hand in both late goals that settled it. McDavid set up Leon Draisaitl’s go-ahead goal, then scored into an empty net to lift Edmonton to 2-0-1.

The Oilers are alone atop the Pacific Division with five points. Seattle fell to 1-1-0.

How the Kraken vs Oilers score reached 3-1

Owen Michaels gave Edmonton a 1-0 lead at 2:51 of the first period with a wrist shot, assisted by Alex Formenton. The game turned into a penalty-filled first period, but nothing else got through.

Seattle tied it on the power play. Bobby McMann scored at 9:06 of the second period, with Jordan Eberle and Chandler Stephenson getting the assists.

The score stayed 1-1 until late in the third. Draisaitl scored at 17:33 with assists from McDavid and Ryan Shea. Then, with Seattle’s goalie pulled, McDavid hit the empty net at 18:55, assisted by Vasily Podkolzin. Edmonton scored twice in 1:22.
