Cam Little made four field goals and Trevor Lawrence threw for 242 yards and a touchdown as the Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Baltimore Ravens 33-10 on Thursday at M&T Bank Stadium. The win pushed Jacksonville to 6-2, while Baltimore fell to 4-5.
The Jaguars built their margin with Little’s leg, breaking open a 10-3 game with three second-half field goals before Chris Rodriguez Jr. added a short touchdown run late in the fourth quarter. Ravens quarterback Joe Fagnano threw two interceptions and completed just 10 of 18 passes for 60 yards before Justice Hill’s 65-yard touchdown run in the final period made the score respectable. Hill finished with 85 yards on nine carries, nearly matching Baltimore’s entire passing output on one play.
Key Moments: How Jacksonville Took Control
Bhayshul Tuten opened the scoring with a 1-yard touchdown run early in the first quarter, capping Jacksonville’s opening drive. Baltimore answered with a 53-yard field goal from Jake Moody, but Little’s 36-yarder with two minutes left in the first quarter put the Jaguars back up 10-3.
Jacksonville extended the lead to 17-3 just before halftime when Lawrence found Parker Washington for a 50-yard touchdown pass with 58 seconds left in the second quarter (11:20 remaining in the first quarter per official scoring data). Little then took over in the second half, hitting from 45, 47 and 33 yards to push the lead to 26-3 by early in the fourth quarter. Rodriguez’s 2-yard touchdown run with 7:26 remaining made it 33-3 before Hill’s long touchdown run accounted for Baltimore’s only touchdown of the night.
Top Performers
Lawrence completed 16 of 26 passes for 242 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions, posting a 105.0 passer rating. Jakobi Meyers led Jacksonville’s receivers with four catches for 65 yards, while Washington added two catches for 61 yards and the touchdown. Little went 4 for 4 on field goals, topping out at 47 yards, and finished with 15 points.
On the ground, Ameer Abdullah carried seven times for 30 yards and Tuten added 29 yards and a score on 12 carries. Foyesade Oluokun paced Jacksonville’s defense with seven tackles and a sack.
For Baltimore, Hill’s 85 rushing yards on nine carries led all players, and Derrick Henry added 57 yards on 17 carries. Fagnano finished 10 of 18 for just 60 yards with two interceptions, both picked off by Jacksonville defensive backs Montaric Brown and Jourdan Lewis. Roquan Smith led the Ravens with eight tackles.
What It Means
Jacksonville improved to 6-2 and holds a .750 winning percentage atop the AFC South, well clear of Houston and Indianapolis. The Jaguars have now won three of their past games behind a defense that forced three Baltimore turnovers, including the fumble lost by the Ravens, to go with the two interceptions.
Baltimore dropped to 4-5 and sits fourth in the AFC North behind Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Cleveland. The Ravens were outgained 319-227 in total yards and converted just 4 of 14 third-down attempts while committing seven penalties for 46 yards, a sloppy showing that left them searching for answers on offense beyond their rushing attack, which still managed 172 yards on 34 carries.
What’s Next
The Jaguars will look to build on their 6-2 start as they continue AFC South play, while the Ravens try to climb back into the AFC North race at 4-5. Neither team’s next opponent was included in the official data released after Thursday’s game.
