Now, with Dowdle in Pittsburgh, He enters camp as the clear RB1. The hamstring injury doesn’t change his long‑term role, but it does give Brooks a chance to earn early‑season snaps. If Brooks performs well, Carolina could lean on a committee until Hubbard is fully healthy.
