Gunther made a comeback on WWE Raw, and he got right into a major storyline with Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman. This started with a talk, but it quickly escalated from a promo to WrestleMania development, because Gunther changed everything.
Heyman went into the ring to talk about the problems between him and “The Vision.” He thought that the General Manager, Adam Pearce, was being unfair to them. Pearce responded by stepping out to clarify the situation, revealing that the charges tied to Rollins’ arrest had been dropped. He also said that Rollins could get back to fighting.
Rollins did something unexpected. He snuck up behind Heyman, wearing a mask, and surprised him. Then he took off the mask to show everyone it was him. After that, Rollins hit Heyman with a steel chair.
Rollins put Heyman in the chair. It looked like he was going to do something that would result in a big injury. This made everyone in the arena nervous because it seemed like Rollins wanted to give a strong message before WrestleMania.
Gunther Intervenes At a Crucial Moment
Before Rollins could do his move, Gunther appeared and took control right away. He put Rollins in a hold from behind and pushed him toward the announcer’s desk. Seth Rollins tried to get out of the hold, but he was unable to.
With Rollins under control, Gunther made his intentions clear by pointing directly at the WrestleMania sign. This is the start of a rivalry for WrestleMania 42. This moment is important because it is not just him coming back, but the start of a big feud between these two wrestlers.
