Denver Broncos Set To Meet With Veteran Tight End Evan Engram

Denver Broncos

With NFL Free Agency set to start later today, the Denver Broncos will host veteran Tight End Evan Engram on Monday. He was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday and will be looking for a new home this offseason. He is coming off a middling 2024 campaign in Jacksonville. Engram finished with 47 receptions, 365 receiving yards, and a receiving touchdown. Will Engram be a good fit with the Denver Broncos?

Denver Broncos Offseason Outlook

Denver is looking to build upon a solid regular season. They finished 10-7 and made the AFC Playoffs. A big reason for their postseason appearance was the play of rookie Quarterback Bo Nix. He finished the regular season 12th in passing yards and sixth in passing touchdowns.

If Engram were to join the Broncos, he would play alongside Wide Receivers Cortland Sutton and Troy Franklin. Denver did not get much production from its tight end room last season. Their leading tight end, Adam Trautman, had 188 receiving yards in 2024.

Final Thoughts

Engram would be a great addition to the Denver Broncos. The team is expected to be active in free agency this offseason, and they are meeting with one of the best tight ends on the market. Engram will have many suitors this offseason, but Denver will be meeting with him on the first day of NFL Free Agency. Denver will look to give Nix at least one more marquee weapon this offseason.
