D’Andre Swift scored three rushing touchdowns and Caleb Williams threw for 247 yards as the Chicago Bears beat the Seattle Seahawks 34-17 on Monday Night Football at Lumen Field in Seattle. The win pushed Chicago to 6-2, while Seattle fell to 4-4.

Swift’s third touchdown, a 5-yard run with 4:41 left in the fourth quarter, put the game away after Seattle had cut a 20-9 deficit to 20-17 on a Sam Darnold touchdown pass and two-point conversion. Darnold finished 17 of 34 for 188 yards with two touchdowns and an interception, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught six passes for 118 yards and a score for the Seahawks.

Takeaways From Bears’ Win Over Seahawks

Swift carries the load on the ground

Swift ran 27 times for 69 yards and all three of Chicago’s rushing touchdowns, scoring on a 1-yard run in the third quarter and 5-yard runs in the fourth quarter. His workload and goal-line production provided the separation Seattle could not match after its lone touchdown drive of the first half.

Williams and the passing game stretch the field

Williams completed 24 of 34 passes for 247 yards and a touchdown, becoming the first quarterback to throw for more than 200 yards against Seattle in 2026, according to Bleacher Report. Rome Odunze caught four passes for 87 yards, and Luther Burden III added seven catches for 56 yards and a 1-yard touchdown grab in the first quarter.

Chicago wins the ball-control battle

The Bears ran 70 plays to Seattle’s 56 and converted 4 of 4 red-zone chances compared to 1 of 4 for the Seahawks. Chicago also put together a 17-play, 80-yard drive that ran nearly eight-and-a-half minutes off the clock, according to Yahoo Sports, limiting Darnold’s opportunities and helping Chicago hold a 22-18 edge in first downs.

Player Of The Game: D’Andre Swift

Swift carried 27 times for 69 yards and three touchdowns, scoring on runs of 1 and 5 yards in the second half. His three rushing scores accounted for half of Chicago’s touchdowns in the win.

Bears Vs. Seahawks By The Numbers

Chicago out-gained Seattle 363 yards to 252 and finished 7-of-15 on third down, while the Seahawks converted 1-of-11 on third down. The Bears committed one turnover, a lost fumble by Colston Loveland, compared to Darnold’s interception for Seattle. Cairo Santos made both of his field-goal attempts, including a 44-yarder, and converted all four extra points. Seattle’s Michael Dickson punted five times for a 51.8-yard average, including a 63-yarder, but could not flip enough field position to keep pace.

What’s Next

The Bears (6-2) host their next opponent as they pursue the NFC North division title. The Seahawks (4-4) play again next week.
