Cooper Kupp’s 3 Best Landing Spots

Cooper Kupp

Los Angeles Rams Wide Receiver Cooper Kupp posted on X Monday night the team’s intention to trade him this offseason. The star wide receiver is coming off an injury-plagued few seasons with the franchise. Since winning the receiving triple crown in 2021, and winning the Super Bowl MVP, he has played in 33 of a possible 51 regular season games. Kupp’s injury woes have led to the franchise deciding to move on from him this offseason. Where will the All-Pro receiver end up next season?

Kupp’s Best Landing Spots

New England Patriots

New England had a difficult season in 2024. They finished 4-13 but seemingly found their franchise quarterback in Drake Maye. The Patriots did not provide the rookie with much to work with in the receiving corps. Kupp will provide a veteran presence for New England as they look to get back on a winning trajectory.

Los Angeles Chargers

Los Angeles qualified for the NFL Playoffs with only one reliable pass-catching option. Wide Receiver Ladd McConkey had nine receptions in the team’s playoff loss to the Houston Texans. The rest of the team had a combined five receptions. Kupp will provide Los Angeles with another solid option at receiver as they look to build upon a strong 2024 campaign. A bonus is that he will be able to stay in LA and still play his home games at SoFi Stadium.

Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens had another disappointing playoff exit. They committed three turnovers in their playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills. Wide Receiver Zay Flowers was sidelined in the Divisional Round matchup, and Baltimore did not possess the requisite receiving depth to overcome a turnover-prone day from their offense. Having another reliable receiving option will help Quarterback Lamar Jackson improve upon the best passing year of his illustrious career.

Final Thoughts

Even though these three teams would be a great fit for the Los Angeles Rams receiver, many more NFL teams will be involved in the Kupp sweepstakes this offseason. Even though he has had an injury-laden last three seasons, the team that acquires him will be fortunate. He has a championship pedigree, and as his statement on X said, he is as motivated as ever, healthy, and not ready to hang up the cleats any time soon.
