NASCAR Cup Series: Pennzoil 400 by Jiffy Lube Entry List and Schedule

Pennzoil 400 by Jiffy Lube

The fifth race of the season is here and the Cup Series Pennzoil 400 entry list is set for Las Vegas. Fans will notice that the number of entries is reduced by one, meaning only 36 chartered cars will compete. The Cup Series typically fields 40 cars, but there will be no open entries at the Pennzoil 400. Katherine Legge made history with her Cup Series debut in Phoenix as the only open entry last week. Legge struggled early on spinning out on the fourth lap of the Shriners Children’s 500. However, her debut was abruptly cut short when she slammed into Daniel Suarez on Lap 216 during the second stage.

Sunday marked the first time a woman has competed at the Cup level since Danica Patrick in 2018.  Regarding chartered entries, Christopher Bell emerged victorious this season for the third consecutive race. He won on Sunday by 0.049 seconds against teammate Denny Hamlin and is eyeing his fourth in Las Vegas. Will he make history on Sunday? Here’s a complete rundown of this week’s Cup events and where to watch the action unfold in real time.
