Yamaha Racing managing director Lin Jarvis has shown delight over the same development. The Miguel Oliveira, a 26-year-old racer from Brazil, who won five MotoGP races with KTM, joined the RNF/Trackhouse Aprilia racing team last year. He achieved his best results during one Grand Prix when he ranked fourth and another Sprint race where he got second place. He reported how excited he was to join Yamaha, as he mentioned;
It’s a great privilege for me to represent such an iconic brand in our sport as Yamaha, Oliveira said. Through my years of progression and arriving in MotoGP, I’ve always looked upon the blue bikes with great enthusiasm. It’s now a reality, and I want to thank Yamaha Motor Company for its commitment to me in such an important transition phase of the project. Mr. Lin Jarvis was a key figure in starting discussions and making this happen. I believe I can be useful in this transition period of bringing the bike back to the top.
It seems that he is very excited about joining the Monster Yamaha. He is looking forward to having a good time with the team, he specifically thanked Lin Jarvis for allowing him to join the team.
