Marvin Harrison Jr. trade? The Arizona Cardinals are finalizing a trade of wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., according to ESPN. Arizona drafted Harrison fourth overall in 2024.
Harrison was inactive for Arizona’s game against the Detroit Lions after the team informed him of the trade decision before Sunday’s matchup. The Cardinals are seeking a second-round pick or better in return, according to ESPN.
Marvin Harrison Jr. Trade: What Was Reported
Arizona’s asking price includes a second-round pick and possibly an additional mid-round pick, according to Bleacher Report. The Cardinals have fielded several calls from NFL teams regarding Harrison.
The Indianapolis Colts are among the teams that have shown interest in Harrison, according to ESPN.
The trade talk comes despite Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort publicly stating that Harrison remained part of the franchise’s plans. Harrison has been barely utilized under first-year head coach Mike LaFleur this season, according to Pelissero.
Harrison’s Production This Season
Harrison has caught just five passes for 85 yards through four games in 2026. That follows a 2025 season in which he posted 608 yards across 12 games, a year that included a concussion that contributed to reduced production, according to CBS Sports.
The numbers mark a steep drop from his rookie campaign, when Harrison recorded 62 receptions for 885 yards and eight touchdowns over 16 starts. He has also dealt with drops and broader productivity concerns in 2026, per the report.
What’s Next
The trade is not official until the Cardinals and a trading partner complete terms. The deal could become official at any point during the remaining 2026 season.
