Injuries and key matchup
Columbus has seven players out, including defensemen Ivan Provorov, Damon Severson and Dante Fabbro, according to FOX Sports. Utah lists forward Maveric Lamoureux with a shoulder injury.
The key matchup is Utah’s power play against a thinner Columbus defense. Guenther scored twice with the man advantage in the opener, and the Blue Jackets will try to stay out of the penalty box. Starting goalies for Saturday had not been confirmed at the time of writing.
