Milwaukee Brewers Starting Pitcher Jacob Misiorowski was named to the National League’s All-Star Game roster last night. He was named as an injury replacement for Chicago Cubs Starting Pitcher Matthew Boyd. Misiorowski has only started five games this season. That is the fewest games by an All-Star before being named since Paul Skenes played 11 games last season before getting the All-Star nod.
Milwaukee’s young star has been great this season. He is 4-1 with a 2.81 ERA. He was especially good in his first three starts this season. They were also the first three of his career. Through 16 innings of work, he only surrendered three hits. How will he pitch in front of a national audience next week?

Misiorowski was a highly touted prospect when he made his MLB debut on June 12 against the St. Louis Cardinals. He was the No. 4 overall prospect in Milwaukee’s system entering the 2025 season. He has lived up to the hype in his first five career starts.
Final Thoughts
Misiorowski will not take the mound for the Milwaukee Brewers. His next order of business will be to succeed in the All-Star Game on Tuesday night. The young starting pitcher will look to build on his great first half of the regular season.
