Leevi Merilainen stopped 10 shots in his Canucks debut in relief, according to CBS Sports. Both goalies are expected to see action this weekend. Read our recap of the Oilers’ 9-7 win.

Key matchup in Flames vs Canucks

The game pits a Calgary offense that scored once against a Vancouver defense that has allowed 14 goals in two games. If the Flames create more chances than they did against Seattle, they could exploit a shaky Canucks crew.
