Sacramento Kings center Dylan Cardwell will be sidelined at least two weeks with a left calf strain. Cardwell developed soreness in the calf following Sacramento’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Oct. 8, and imaging later confirmed the strain.
The team said Cardwell will be reevaluated in approximately two weeks. No return date was announced.
Raynaud Also Sidelined
Fellow center Maxime Raynaud is also out after sustaining a right patellar subluxation during preseason play, leaving the Kings without two centers as both undergo their reevaluation windows.
What’s Next
Cardwell will be reevaluated in approximately two weeks from the Oct. 8 diagnosis. The Kings will provide further updates as appropriate.
