According to Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, Adams is expected to play in this Week 11 game. It has been a rough adjustment period for Davante Adams thus far as through four games, he has 20 receptions on 39 targets for 206 yards (10.3 yards per catch) with one touchdown. Despite the struggles and only being on the team for four games, he has the team’s fifth-highest receiving yards and the second-most targets behind Garrett Wilson.
The pairing of Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers has not gotten off to a great start and the New York Jets are currently the 11th seed in the AFC. However, this game is going to be important as the Indianapolis Colts are one of the teams ahead of them and this game would give the winning team the tiebreaker if it went to that point. This game is going to be intriguing and one of the sneaky fun games on the early slate.
With Davante Adams playing wide receiver for the New York Jets, it completely opens up other players as the top cornerback is going to be defending him. The offense all comes down to if quarterback Aaron Rodgers can have a good game and the offensive line protection. These Jets need to win to keep hope alive and recover from that terrible outing last week against the Arizona Cardinals where the team just looked completely uninspired and flat.
