This season has not gone according to plan for the Baltimore Orioles. They entered the season with playoff aspirations, and have fallen far short. They are in last place in the American League East by a wide margin. Even though 2025 has been a lost season, Baltimore has many key pieces it hopes to build around for years to come. One of the team’s young stars is Second Baseman Jackson Holliday. He had two hits in tonight’s drubbing and is one of the best young players in the sport.
Final Thoughts
The Baltimore Orioles will look to win the series tomorrow afternoon against the Colorado Rockies. A performance like tonight illustrates that better times lie ahead for the Orioles. They have two months left in the regular season to try to end on a high note.
