WWE Clash In Italy Results: F5 Spamming, Shocking Title Changes, and Family Feuds in Turin
WWE took its traveling circus to Turin for the first-ever Clash in Italy, and if you had “Brock Lesnar spamming F5s like an absolute madman” on your bingo card, congratulations. The Inalpi Arena was electric, the fans treated every near-fall like a matter of national security, and Triple H proved once again that he will fly halfway across the globe just to make us scream at our screens.
From massive title changes to family drama that rivals a soap opera, the night was packed with action. Let’s break down everything that happened at WWE Clash in Italy.
Sol Ruca Shocks the World Against Becky Lynch
Let’s start with the absolute jaw-dropper of the night. Becky Lynch walked into Turin holding the WWE Raw Women’s Intercontinental Championship with the absolute certainty of a woman who has seen and done it all. Meanwhile, Sol Ruca—the NXT upstart who feels like she was created in a laboratory specifically designed to execute flawless flips—was just supposed to be a fun, competitive filler opponent.
Instead, we got a passing of the torch that left a bruise. Becky dominated the WWE veteran psychology portion of the evening, grounding the athletic freak and keeping her isolated. But the moment Lynch made a single micro-mistake on the turnbuckle, Ruca capitalized. Out of nowhere, she hit a devastating Sol Crusher, and before the crowd could even process what was happening, the referee’s hand hit the mat for a three-count. Sol Ruca is your new champion, and Becky Lynch just got served a very public, very surprising slice of humble pie.
Cody Rhodes Survives the Ring General
The first hour of the show aired free on ESPN, which apparently meant Cody Rhodes and Gunther had to pack a monthly quota of sheer violence into roughly twenty minutes. Gunther spent the entire buildup promising to choke Cody unconscious and take the Undisputed WWE Championship, and for a solid chunk of this match, it looked like he was going to do exactly that.
Gunther’s chops sounded like small explosives detonating in the arena. Cody played his usual “bleeding heart babyface fighting from underneath” routine, which works because the guy sells like he’s actually fighting for his life. After escaping a sleeper hold that looked deeply uncomfortable, Cody managed to hit a string of Cross Rhodes. Gunther didn’t go down easy, but a final, desperate roll-up sealed the deal for the American Nightmare. It was a divisive finish for the purists who wanted Gunther to flatten him, but hey, the story continues.
Brock Lesnar Spams His Way to Victory Over Oba Femi
If you thought Brock Lesnar was going to ride off into the sunset after losing to Oba Femi at WWE WrestleMania 42, you clearly don’t know how Brock’s contract works. The Beast returned hungry for vengeance, and this match was less of a technical wrestling clinic and more of an open-air demolition derby.
Brock Lesnar's Match Strategy:[Start Match] ➔ [Hit F5] ➔ [Hit F5] ➔ [Hit F5] ➔ [Hit F5] ➔ [Apply Kimura]
Lesnar came out of the gate and hit four consecutive F5s. Let that sink in. Femi, being the absolute tank that he is, somehow powered out of a Kimura Lock and responded by chokeslamming Lesnar through the air. The two spent the next ten minutes trading heavy artillery outside the ring, fracturing the ringside barricade in the process. Ultimately, it took a staggering seventh F5 from Lesnar to finally keep the young powerhouse down. They are now tied 1-1, and SummerSlam is looming like a dark cloud over Femi’s back.
Rhea Ripley Retains Amidst Total Chaos
Jade Cargill vs. Rhea Ripley was always going to be a powerhouse collision, but the ending of this match had so many moving parts it felt like a backstage traffic jam. Cargill brought Michin and B-Fab down to the ring to stack the deck, ensuring Rhea’s dominant WWE Women’s Championship reign faced some serious outside interference.
Just when it looked like the numbers game was too much, Charlotte Flair made a surprise appearance, neutralizing Cargill’s backup in brutal fashion. Amid the distraction, Cargill managed to hit her Jaded finisher on Mami. It should have been over, but Charlotte shoved Ripley’s foot onto the bottom rope to break the count. A furious Cargill lost her focus, allowing Rhea to nail her with a vicious headbutt followed by a thunderous Riptide to retain.
Roman Reigns Survives Tribal Combat
The main event brought the house down with a Tribal Combat match for the World Heavyweight Championship and, more importantly, the literal crown of the Anoaʻi family. Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu was exactly the kind of uncomfortable, weapon-filled family domestic dispute we’ve come to expect from the Bloodline.
Fatu, who was reportedly banged up going into the match, wrestled like a man possessed. He put Roman through a table, whipped him with kendo sticks, and hit a diving headbutt that looked like it cracked the ring frame. But the Original Tribal Chief doesn’t loose Tribal Combat. Roman weathered the storm, hit a monstrous Spear through a table, and forced Fatu to look at the lights. Fatu is now legally, contractually obligated to acknowledge Roman as his Tribal Chief on Raw, and the look of pure despair on his face was worth the price of admission alone.
