Ravens Land a Hidden Gem: Elijah Sarratt Could Be the Steal of the 4th Round

The Baltimore Ravens have drafted a couple of receivers now in the 2026 Draft but the second one that they drafted in the fourth round, I think, is the better prospect of the two even though Jakobi Lane is also a great prospect as well, but I feel former JMU and Indiana Star Elijah Sarratt is going to make much more of an impact for the Ravens in the long term. 

Sarratt had a successful career in college throughout his entire journey. I remember watching him during his year at JMU and thought to myself that this kid is going to be a stud and a potential pro. But when Cignetti moved on to Indiana, Sarratt was one of his key pieces in that initial recruitment of the first team that made the College Football Playoff in 2024. 

He did have an injury in 2025, but he did come back for the late-season stretch and the postseason and still made a huge impact for the Hoosiers in their National Championship pursuit. Here’s a more statistical breakdown of how the Indiana receiver is going to help Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. 

Elijah Sarratt’s 2025 Season 

Sarratt had 15 touchdowns in 2025, as he was one of Fernando Mendoza’s favorite targets last season overall when the 2025 Champions got in the range of scoring. Even though Omar Cooper Jr did get the benefit of having more meaningful snaps, including the catch of the year against Penn State. As he got selected late in the first round, deservingly so, but Sarratt is also a great option that could’ve gone in Day 2, but ended up falling into the third day. 

Lamar Jackson is getting a receiver who is a pure receiver that can do it all and be a consistent guy at the catch point on the outside to create room for guys like Zay Flowers to operate from the slot as well as the deeper parts of the field. I love this pick for the Baltimore Ravens, and I think he will succeed in his rookie year with the Ravens right away.
