The Main Prospect The Jacksonville Jaguars Must Select In 2026 NFL Draft (April Fools Edition)
The Jacksonville Jaguars are back, after many years of a mess; they finally made it back to the playoffs. Now it’s time to enter the next stage of their retool/rebuild, the 2026 NFL Draft. You know what’s weird? These analysts and mock drafters are putting unknown players in the 1st round of the draft. They call us clowns, huh, well, here’s an uno reverse card. Here is the main prospect we must select in this draft.
While There Is An Unknown With Travis Hunter, We Don’t Regret Trading Our 1st
Let’s address the obvious here: Yes, the Jacksonville Jaguars do not have a first-round pick in the class because we traded it in the deal to select Travis Hunter. While his first season was disappointing and was cut short due to injury, the organization doesn’t regret it. It takes time for players to get settled into the NFL, and Hunter will be fine.
Also, for a player like him playing two positions, it filled two needs. The plan for now is to mainly use him at cornerback and in a rotational role on offense. Hunter’s future is still bright, and with last season, we can hold off on not panicking with a 1st all good.
The Biggest Team Need For The Jacksonville Jaguars
Looking at team needs, there are a few that come to mind here. An offensive weapon is the way to go for the Jacksonville Jaguars team. When taking a prospect, to be a Jaguar, they need three main skills to succeed in Liam Coen’s offensive system.
The first is a high flyer as the franchise needs somebody willing to fly high to catch the football, just in case Trevor Lawrence has to overthrow if he gets pressured. He does have the turnover issue, and the high flyer can make the acrobatic catch. The second skill they need is being a risk-taker. Somebody is willing to put their body on the line to make a play. The final skill is toughness, as some of the hits players take can be brutal.
Those three skills can be hard to find for the Jaguars. Well, luckily, Shad Khan and his son Tony Khan got great connections in the sporting world. One guy who Tony Khan is close to fits all those qualities, and let’s just say the prospect is legit crazy.
With The 56th Pick In The 2026 NFL Draft, The Jaguars Select – FB Darby Allin (All Elite Wrestling University)

AEW’s own Darby Allin is willing to step up to the plate to pull double duty, working wrestling shows and NFL games. Darby Allin will do anything to win as he is a risk-taker, high flyer, and a legit tough wrestler. Some of the bumps this man has taken are insane, and honestly, it’s a miracle the dude is not in a wheelchair right now. Still, the man has what it takes to get the job done, and he would be a perfect fit for the fullback position as a Jaguars player.
Now, there are a few concerns with this pick here. The first is the injures as all the crazy bumps he takes in the ring are gonna add up, and who knows how long he can last in the NFL. The second one is that Allin can be too crazy and make dumb penalties to make a play. He can get carried away, and honestly, we might need to pat him down before going in the ring, as he had crazy ideas on how to use weapons during his performance.
There are off-field issues, too, with this pick, as Allin has a bit of a habit of doing daredevil-type stuff. In fact, the man legit took time off just to prepare and climb Mount Everest. He films himself doing these stunts, and it’s scary because one wrong move and it’s all over for him. However, he keeps showing up to work asking for more, and with how close he is with Tony Khan, it’s worth the risk.
Darby Allin Is Not Only All Elite, But He’s Also A Jaguar
Darby Allin is a made man for Tony Khan, and for his years of service to the AEW family and Jaguar family, he will get a job for life doing executive work after this. Heck, if all goes well and the Jaguars get their first Super Bowl, we may allow him to do whatever stunt he wants. It’s gonna be a joke like this whole article and idea is. Happy April Fools, everybody.
