The Main Prospects The Miami Dolphins Must Select In 2026 NFL Draft (April Fools Edition)
Welcome to April, Miami Dolphins fans. We are super close to the 2026 NFL Draft. It is a time of new beginnings for this franchise. After the Tua Tagovailoa era faded into existence, the franchise has faced the facts. They blew it up, purged big pieces, and are entering a 1st stage of a rebuild. It’s time to begin the process of getting better as the Miami Dolphins are now on the clock.
What Is The Main Goal For The Miami Dolphins In This Draft
The Miami Dolphins have kick-started yet another rebuild. I mean, is anyone surprised? Their rebuild failed the moment the team fired Brian Flores. Look, Mike McDaniel is a good offensive coach, but he’s way too over his head as the head coach of a team. So was the GM who gave Tua Tagovailoa that awful contract. Enjoy that gigantic cap hell of Tua’s contract.
With team needs and that cap situation, this is gonna be a long rebuild. The best way to start a rebuild is to get players who will help us get points and ensure the opposing team starts off in their own end zone when the offense goes 3 and out. That’s right, special teams is the way to go, and with two 1st-round picks, we can solve it immediately.
With The 11th Pick In The 2026 NFL Draft, The Dolphins Select K Jaffer Murphy (UTSA)

Its a shame that Jason Sanders hips are knackered because he was a great kicker. Riley Patterson showed promise last year, but he is lacking something. A quality that every team needs to capitalize on, and that is speed. Jaffer Murphy is that player, and his 4.5 40-yard dash at his pro day. Along with that 70-yard kick and amazing leg strength, he is just too good to pass on. It worked with Sebastian Janikowski in the Raiders; it will for us, too.
With The 30th Pick In The 2026 NFL Draft, The Dolphins Select – P Emmanuel Clase (Pete Rose Betting Association)

Jaylen Waddle getting traded is his loss, and we gain here by bolstering our special teams unit. We already got a kicker, and now it’s time to get a punter. This time, we get a little bit of a Bo Jackson-esque pick in Emmanuel Clase. He may have a rocket arm, but he does a great job punting in his baseball career. That takes guts, and we need guts in Miami.
Now there is the issue that he had allegedly thrown games to hit his bets, but that was only because he threw a baseball. Heck, we even got The Pete Rose Betting Association’s approval here and a tape of him throwing a baseball.
With how talented he is, he’s way too good for the Dolphins to pass on. Heck, we may even run a lot of fake plays here with Clase’s arm strength. Many say that the Dolphins struck out here, but now we hit a grand slam homerun with this selection. What a steal to home base too.
The Rebuild Maybe Long, but Special Teams Is The Starting Point
This rebuild won’t be like the last one as we will be taking our time with this team. The first steps have been sealed by getting our kicker and punter set up in this 1st round. Now its time to focus on our other team needs in the long snapper, returner, gunners, and holder. We got plenty of picks to use and this is the way to go.
This will be the most accurate and electrifying draft day in franchise history. Well, that sentence alone just makes it obvious. I’m only kidding, Happy April Fools, everyone.
