The Main Prospect The Arizona Cardinals Must Select In 2026 NFL Draft (April Fools Edition)
Welcome to April, and we are now 23 days away from the 2026 NFL Draft. One team that is unfortunately been getting a high draft pick is the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals are in a very weird spot at the moment, and many wonder what direction they will go in.
There are a ton of rumors and speculation about who it could be, but it’s bizarre to see many mock drafters and analysts missing the big picture and many available prospects. The research heading into this draft is not handled properly, and it’s clear once the combine ended. Let’s get into the Main selection with the Arizona Cardinals now on the clock
Team Needs For The Cardinals
The Cardinals are a messy team, but QB is a team need that many of these “analysts” claim we have. That is because of the departure of Kyler Murray. Let’s be real, he had to go with how bad his Call of Duty addiction got. We got Gardner Minshew, who is the most talented QB I have ever seen in this league. He’s on the Mount Rushmore of QB in the history of the league, so these analysts are wrong. Maybe a backup QB could be helpful though.
With The 3rd Pick In The 2026 NFL Draft, The Cardinals Select – QB Peter LaFleur (Average Joe’s)

Arizona doesn’t need a quarterback. We already got the greatest 6th-round QB in Football history in Gardner Minshew. Especially with how cheap he was, it was the best deal in free agency, no question. In fact, many say the Arizona Cardinals are the favorites to represent the NFC in Super Bowl LXI.
However, we could get a young prodigy to learn from one of the greats this league has to offer. Always plan for the future, they say, and this guy came out of nowhere in the Dodgeball world. His name is Peter LaFleur, and he has experience in Sudden Death/Overtime experience. Along with his rocket arm, there is so much pure talent with him.
Now, there are certain concerns about LaFleur. Apparently, he has a habit of caring more about his gym than the sport. There’s also the whole rumor of him getting a 100 thousand dollar bribe to throw a dodgeball game. Some say it was from White Goodman from Global Gym, but that’s not confirmed.
What was he apparently involved in the Pete Rose Betting Association by gambling money he allegedly got from the bribe if his team won? A good old Pete Rose tactic there. We were told by sources it was a business bank loan, but its hard to determine that.
Worse for worse, he takes care of his body and can teach the team how to work out. Maybe we can modernize his training for our team and to get our wide receivers to learn the new 5 d’s of the sport, Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive and Dodge. Marvin Harrison Jr could learn that when battling defensive players on the field.
The Aim In This Draft Is Start The LaFleur Era
How ironic that the head coach of this franchise is Matt LaFleur, who is getting his first head coaching opportunity. This selection will start a new beginning of the LaFleur era as head coach and at QB. Whenever he is ready, once Gardner Minshew wins a Super Bowl. After all, not one other QB has been drafted in the 6th round and has had as much success as Gardner Minshew.
This is the most realistic choice and is guaranteed to be 100% accurate on draft day. Oh, who am I kidding? Happy April Fools, everybody. Don’t forget, if you’re in a Dodgeball match, remember the 5 D’s of Dodgeball, from the great Patches O’Houlihan remember to Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive, and Dodge.
