Golden State Warriors Point Guard Stephen Curry has seemingly found his footing over the past four games. He has hit at least six three-pointers in his last four games. His streak began against the Milwaukee Bucks and continued against the Los Angeles Lakers and the Chicago Bulls before marching on last night on the road against the Milwaukee Bucks.
With all of these games coming on the road, Curry is the first player in NBA history to hit six or more or more threes in four straight games in four different cities. Curry’s performance helped the Golden State Warriors defeat the Milwaukee Bucks last night and outduel Milwaukee star Point Guard Damian Lillard. Curry finished with 38 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. After struggling as of late, Curry is averaging 33 points per game in February. Will he and the Golden State Warriors be able to keep it going?

It has been a disappointing season for the Warriors. They are 27-26 and the No. 10 seed in the Western Conference. Golden State also made a marquee move at the NBA Trade Deadline to try to improve the team. They acquired Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat and sent Andrew Wiggins out of town. Butler’s tenure with the Golden State Warriors has gotten off to a strong start.
Golden State’s offense has been mediocre this season. They are 18th in points per game, 26th in field goal percentage, and 13th in three-point percentage. The franchise hopes Butler can provide a jolt to a middling offense. Golden State’s defense has been the strength of its team this season. They are 10th in points allowed, 13th in opposing field goal percentage, and one of the best teams at turning over the opposition.
Final Thoughts
Golden State continues its seven-game road trip tomorrow evening against a Dallas Mavericks team in turmoil. The road trip concludes with games against the Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings. Curry and the Golden State Warriors will look to continue their winning ways as they look to rise in the Western Conference standings.
