WWE Raw Results: Roman Reigns Snaps, Oba Femi Destroys Brock Lesnar in Boston
Look, we all knew the TD Garden was going to be loud, but Monday Night Raw in Boston felt like a powder keg waiting for a match. With WrestleMania 42 breathing down our necks, WWE isn’t just lightly tapping the accelerator—they’ve slammed the pedal through the floorboard.
From broken announce tables to restraining orders, this week’s show gave us the kind of unhinged sports entertainment chaos that makes you remember why you fell in love with this business in the first place. Let’s break down the biggest moments from a heavy-hitting night in Beantown.
The Oba Femi Era is Here (And Brock Lesnar Knows It)
Paul Heyman opened the show doing what Paul Heyman does best: spinning absolute fiction. Flanked by Brock Lesnar—sporting a very menacing “FAF5” shirt—the Wiseman tried to convince us that Oba Femi only got the upper hand last week because of a Seth Rollins distraction. He name-dropped legends like Dean Ambrose and Bobby Lashley, insisting Femi was just another overhyped heavyweight destined for the F-5.
The crowd wasn’t buying it, and neither was Femi.
When the former NXT champion marched down the ramp, the tension was palpable. Lesnar went right for the kill, hoisting the big man up for his signature finisher. But Femi didn’t just escape; he effortlessly slipped out and launched The Beast Incarnate over the top rope like he was tossing out the Sunday trash. Lesnar’s stunned expression on the floor said it all. We are witnessing a very real changing of the guard, and Femi looks like an absolute monster.
“I Murdered the Divas Era”
If you needed any more proof that Becky Lynch is arguably the greatest mic worker in the women’s division right now, you got it Monday night.
Lynch hit the ring to address her blindside attack on Women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee, and she did not pull any punches. Addressing the fans who cheer for a woman who “abandoned” them for a decade, Lynch dropped a line that will be on highlight reels for years: “You mastered the Divas Era. I murdered the Divas Era.”
That’s a bar. Lee charged the ring shortly after, chasing Lynch off before officially laying down the challenge for WrestleMania 42. It’s a generational dream match, and the bad blood feels incredibly real.
Jey Uso Sees Red On Raw
You have to wonder what is going on inside Jey Uso’s head right now. In a non-title tag bout against The Vision (Logan Paul and Austin Theory) on Raw, Jey completely lost the plot.
The match itself was a solid back-and-forth, but the real story happened late. After LA Knight wandered out to stop Logan Paul from using his signature brass knuckles, Jey scooped up the weapon. Instead of tossing it aside, Jey clocked Theory right in the jaw to take the intentional disqualification. Still seeing red, he turned around and blasted Paul with them, too. Jey isn’t pandering to the crowd or playing the hype man right now; he’s an unhinged, violent wild card, and it is fascinating television.
Handcuffs for The Visionary
We actually got two helpings of Paul Heyman tonight on Raw, which is rarely a bad thing. In his second appearance, Heyman called out Seth Rollins, demanding the former champion come to the ring and “put him out of his misery.”
Rollins obliged, popping up on the announce desk in his mask. But Heyman had an ace up his sleeve: a literal restraining order and a squad of local police officers. Heyman goaded Rollins, dragging his wife and daughter into the promo. Predictably, Rollins snapped, punched the Hall of Fame manager right in the mouth, and was dragged out of the arena in handcuffs. It’s a great way to write Rollins off Raw temporarily while he heals up, leaving us wondering what’s next for this bitter rivalry.
Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and a Shattered Table
If you want main event psychology, look no further than the closing segment between World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and Roman Reigns on Raw.
Punk was in rare form, poking the bear by mocking Reigns’ reliance on his family and even taking a cheap shot at the Original Tribal Chief for allegedly dying his gray hair. The Usos rushed the ring first, with Jey looking ready to tear Punk apart.
Then came Roman. Reigns ordered his cousins out of the ring, but when Jey lunged at Punk anyway, all hell broke loose. Reigns crushed Punk with a Superman Punch, and as officials flooded the ring, Jey screamed at his cousin to “smash him.” Reigns answered the call, delivering a brutal Spear before powerbombing the champion straight through the announce desk.
The lasting image on Raw? CM Punk lying in the wreckage of the table, writhing in pain, but laughing maniacally into the camera. Punk knows he’s inside Roman’s head, and this psychological warfare is going to make their WrestleMania clash an absolute classic.
The Best of the Rest
- Je’Von Evans continues to shine: The young high-flyer picked up a massive win over Grayson Waller on Raw, finishing him off with an incredible super hurricanrana and the OG Cutter. The kid has “future star” written all over him.
- Bayley & Lyra Valkyria get the W: The duo knocked off the Kabuki Warriors in a highly competitive tag bout. Bayley looked frustrated at times but immediately called out Nia Jax and Lash Legend for a tag title shot next week at MSG.
- Penta survives Dirty Dom: Dominik Mysterio nearly won back the Intercontinental Title, but a distraction from a returning Finn Balor allowed Penta to score the roll-up victory. Balor completely dismantled Dom after the bell, setting up a massive grudge match to be set up for Wrestlemania.
