Michigan Wolverines DL coach Greg Scruggs was arrested on Saturday and charged with Operating While Intoxicated (OWI). In the state of Michigan, this can come with any combination of jail time, fines, and suspension of driver’s license. It is unclear at this time what the punishment for Scruggs will be.
In the aftermath of the arrest, Sherrone Moore announced that the university had suspended the coach indefinitely. It left his time with the Michigan Wolverines in question. On Thursday, the young coach decided to resign from his position.
