The Lakers organization has had a history of overcorrecting previous mistakes. In the recent past, they fired coach Frank Vogel, whom they did not let hit the locker room after the final game of the regular season.

This situation created an unpleasant reputation and brought about an awkward press conference which was generally embarrassing for the Lakers. on the contrary, this time round they’re correcting the situation by leaving the coach dangling for multiple days when everyone knows what the outcome will be.

It would also be peak Lakers to wait for a weekend news dump on the firing of a head coach, likely just before the start of the playoff games to try to drive the attention away from them.

As the rumors spread on Darvin Hams’s departure only after two years of serving the Lakers as the head coach, the main focus now shifts to the search for a new head coach. There is an urgency to get a new head coach. This is because Lakers star Lebron James’ career is headed to the final moments.

Gabe Vincent said he believed that the Lakers were close to the Nuggets. He added that he credits Denver for a series of wins.  JJ Redick who has never been an NBA coach emerged as a realistic candidate for the season head coach.

Despite all these taking a chance on JJ Redick would be a risky move. This is because he lacks coaching experience. The Lakers anticipate to have a youthful coach as they look forward to having a turnaround season.
