The Georgia Bulldogs are looking to get back on top of the college football world. They lost to Alabama last year in the SEC Championship game in 2023 and missed out on the College Football Playoff. Unfortunately, one of their best players has found himself in a little trouble. Star running back Trevor Etienne was arrested for a DUI, amongst other charges.

The Georgia Bulldogs running back was arrested on four misdemeanor charges on Sunday morning. Trevor Etienne was booked early this morning on four charges: driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, and affixing materials that reduce the visibility from windows and/or windshield. He posted bond and was released an hour later.
Trevor Etienne was one of the big transfer portal additions for the Georgia Bulldogs. He came over from another SEC team, the Florida Gators. At this point, it is unclear whether there will be any further punishment.
2024 Georgia Bulldogs Outlook
The Georgia Bulldogs are one of the favorites going into 2024. Quarterback Carson Beck is back and an early Heisman candidate. Kirby Smart continues to bring in top recruiting classes. The SEC is tougher this year due to Texas and Oklahoma joining the conferences this year. Still, the Bulldogs should be one of the favorites.
The team may be without Trevor Etienne for a portion of time. It depends on what the school and/or the conference decide. Still, the Georgia Bulldogs have enough talent to take the SEC and make some noise in the College Football Playoff.
