The New Orleans Saints made some big moves in the off-season and in the 2024 NFL Draft,  addressing their most immediate need right out of the gate.  They picked up three offensive tackles between the draft and free agency, including first-round pick Taliese Fuaga. Whether or not this will help Derek Carr and the offense remains to be seen, but the Saints have invested highly in protecting Carr, and they will expect results. New Orleans also picked up a number of standout defensive players, including Northern Iowa DT Khristian Boyd, who was a great value pick in Round 6. They…

The Saints came smashing into the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft on Friday, selecting CB Ga’Quincy “Kool-Aid” McKinstry after trading up with Green Bay for the 41st overall pick. In exchange, Green Bay picked up a 5th and 6th-round pick from the Saints. McKinstry is arguably the top choice among cornerbacks this year, even after missing the combine, and the Saints definitely addressed a deficiency with this pick. They had some heartbreaking losses last year due to big plays and late drives, and adding Kool-Aid to the mix will hopefully bring more depth and enthusiasm to this mostly…
