Chicago Bears Win a Thriller In Minnesota
The Chicago Bears came into Minnesota and secured a victory over the Vikings, 19-17. The Bears beat the Vikings on a 48-yard field goal by Cairo Santos. Chicago is now 7-3 while the Vikings fell to 4-6.
Chicago Bears Beat Vikings
Caleb Williams was 16 of 32 for 193 yards, and D’Andre Swift rushed for 90 yards on 21 carries. The Chicago Bears led the Minnesota Vikings at the half 10-3, while the Vikings just could not get anything going on offense in the second half.
J.J. McCarthy was 16-of-32 with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. Justin Jefferson had 5 receptions for 60 yards. The only impressive play for the Vikings was Jordan Mason’s 16-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Chicago came out after the half and put together an awe-inspiring drive, moving 75 yards in 15 plays and ending with a touchdown to finish the drive. Chicago did whatever they wanted against the Minnesota defense.
The Minnesota Vikings will have to regroup after this week’s performance at home against the Bears. The Vikings will travel to Green Bay and play the Packers, another divisional matchup for them.
Chicago Is On Top Of the NFC North
The Chicago Bears are at the top of the NFC North, ahead of the Detroit Lions, who will play the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night. Chicago is on a three-game winning streak and will head into playing the Pittsburgh Steelers at home at Soldier Field.
