Seattle Seahawks Look To Continue Winning Ways Against Arizona Cardinals In Week 10
Week 10 includes an NFC West clash between the Seattle Seahawks and the struggling Arizona Cardinals. The Seahawks are coming into the game flying high on a three-game winning streak. Arizona is looking to turn its season around, starting with its win last week to join the NFC West title fight.
Offensive Comparisons
The Seahawks heading into week 10 have the more flashy names with Sam Darnold, Cooper Kupp, and a breakout Jaxon Smith-Njigba. But the Cardinals have Wide Receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. Arizona is short on star power, but not firepower.
Looking purely at yards, they aren’t that far apart. The Seahawks have 2,872 total yards of offense in 2025 heading into week 10, while the Cardinals have 2,512. But other stats show how much of a difference a few hundred yards make.
The averages of both teams have put them in different tiers of offense, and it’s plain to see. The Seahawks are averaging 359.0 (10th in the NFL) compared to the Cardinals’ 314.0. That is the worst out of all the teams that have played 8 games.
The biggest difference is in the passing category. The Seahawks are fourth in the NFL in passing, behind the arm of Darnold. They are averaging 255.1 yards so far. While the Cards are averaging 202.5 yards.
On offense, where the Cardinals have the advantage, is in the run game. The Seahawks have famously struggled with their run game since parting ways with “Beast Mode,” Marshawn Lynch.
Seattle has 831 total rushing yards, making them the ninth-worst team in that category heading into Week 10. The Cardinals aren’t much better with 892 rushing yards, but again, we see a large difference in averages vs. total yards, with the Cards’ 111.5 being much better than the Hawks’. This shows how pass-heavy both teams are.
As for receivers, the Seahawks are led by Smith-Njigba with an NFL-leading 948 receiving yards, but let’s give Harrison Jr. some love because he’s been underrated this year, as his 492 receiving yards show improvement from his rookie year.
Seahawks vs Cardinals Defenses
One of the reasons why the Seahawks have been winning so much and are contending for the NFC West crown is their elite defense. They are top 10 in terms of average yards allowed per game and nearly top 5 in average yards allowed. When it comes to average yards, the Cardinals are closer to the Seahawks.
The Seahawks have the second-best defense in terms of both yards allowed and yards allowed per game. The Cardinals aren’t that far off from having a team barely outside the top ten in total yards and total yards per game.
But in terms of points allowed, both are solid. The Seahawks are the third-best team in both, and the Cardinals are in the top 10. So based on the stats, the Seahawks have the upper hand heading into Week 10. Also, it looks like it won’t be a high-scoring game. Don’t be shocked when Week 10 between the Hawks and Cardinals doesn’t bring much excitement.
