He has bounced around the league, being a trade chip in many situations, as he hasn’t lived up to the pick. The former Kentucky Wildcat has played seven games with the Warriors this season, averaging 4.0 points and 1.6 rebounds per game. Head coach Steve Kerr loves to play a large rotation, so Knox may carve out a spot depending on injuries.
This is likely a depth signing for the team. The talent is definitely there, and the Golden State Warriors have shown they can get the most out of players. Furthermore, the team may start to rest some of their key veterans as the season begins to wind down. Curry and Draymond Green are not spring chickens, and the team would rather have them healthy for the playoffs. Can they hold off the rest of the teams in the West?

Holding off both teams with Curry out will be a tall task. Still, Butler has shown he can be the alpha on a team, and they hope their depth can win some games down the stretch. Oklahoma City has been the clear number-one seed all year, but the rest of the conference feels wide open. Curry, Green, and Butler have plenty of playoff experience, and if they get hot, they could surprise some teams in the West.
