The Undertaker discussed the 2019 match against Goldberg, and he referred to the confrontation as a disaster. He confessed that despite his attempt to brush it off, the match became even worse. And he said that he was physically unfit to make it better. The Undertaker said that he could resolve any issue that happened during a match, but he could not do it this time. He said that the more he tried, the worse it became. He stated that he could not muster the strength to do it this time.
His condition was aggravated before the match when Goldberg hit the ring post. Given this setting, it was not out of place. The Undertaker, who was at that time preparing to quit wrestling, could not make the match. Though he desired to perform optimally, he understood that factors such as age and muscle fatigue affected his efficiency.
