Top Drivers Unite for the ‘Rev’n Roll’ Charity Bowling Fundraiser
One of Indy’s favorite traditions, the Rev’n Roll charity bowling event, is back. On December 10th, some of the biggest names in the NHRA are trading their fire suits for bowling shoes to support a cause that’s incredibly close to the heart of the Indianapolis racing world: the Riley Children’s Foundation. Sure, on the track, it’s all about fierce competition, thousandths of a second, and the roar of engines. But off the track? It’s a family.
And that family shows up for each other and for the community, especially when it counts the most. This isn’t just another fundraiser; it’s a reunion and a celebration, perfectly timed to kick off the big Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show week. It’s a chance for fans to rub shoulders, share a laugh, and maybe even talk a little friendly trash with their heroes.
Why Rev n Roll Matters to the Racing Community
For years, the Rev’n Roll event was a staple, an unofficial start to a week where the entire motorsports industry descends on Indy. Its return, championed by the Brownsburg-based JCM Racing team and longtime Riley supporters Mike Lewis and Hali Warnick, feels like welcoming an old friend back.
Cruz Pedregon, a man who knows a thing or two about passion and community, put it perfectly: “We’re all for supporting anything Riley-related.” He gets it. So many in the NHRA family, with teams based right here in the heart of Indiana, have a personal connection to Riley. It’s their hospital. These are their kids.
That connection is what will make Rev’n Roll on December 10th so powerful. It’s more than just a photo op; it’s about drivers, teams, and fans coming together to make a real, tangible difference.
Meet the Stars Striking for a Good Cause
The lineup for Rev’n Roll already feels like a who’s who of drag racing royalty. Legends and rising stars are stepping up to help make this comeback event a massive success. Confirmed to be hitting the lanes are:
- Alexis DeJoria: A force in the Funny Car world and a fan favorite.
- Cruz Pedregon: The two-time Funny Car champion and a pillar of the Indy community.
- Tony Stewart: A living legend across multiple motorsports disciplines.
- Ida Zetterström: The European Top Fuel champion making waves in the NHRA.
And that’s just the start. More drivers are expected to be announced, all ready to throw that ceremonial “first roll” alongside the true heroes of the evening: the Riley Kids and their families.
How You Can Join the Fun and Make a Difference
This is your chance to be part of the action. Whether you’re a seasoned bowler or just want to soak in the atmosphere, there’s a way for you to get involved and support the Riley Children’s Foundation.
The event runs from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Western Bowl. You can get a team of four together for a lane, or just sign up as an individual and make some new friends.
- Lane for a Foursome: $200
- Individual Bowler: $50
- Spectator Admission: $20
Every single dollar from Rev’n Roll goes directly to helping the kids at Riley. Plus, as an incredible bonus, the first 200 people who register get a free commemorative bowling shirt designed by the one and only Dave Marek. If you can’t make it, you can still contribute. A silent auction will go live on December 1st, giving everyone a chance to bid on some incredible items and support the cause.
With NHRA, All Things Are Possible
The goal is to raise $15,000, but with the heart of the NHRA community behind it, you just know they’re going to blow past that. This is more than a bowling night. It’s proof that when the helmets come off, the hearts open up. Let’s Rev’n Roll.
