The Buffalo Bills are a very interesting team heading into the final games of the season. Not only are they trying to lock up a playoff spot, but multiple players are close to getting extra cash through bonus incentives in their contracts. These vary depending on their contract, and if their stats hit, they get the extra cash. So let’s get into the players to keep an eye on for the next few games, money-wise.

WR Khalil Shakir Bonus Incentives

Shakir’s stats to keep an eye on, bonus-wise, are for the touchdowns he catches. He can get the following bonuses below.

Receiving Touchdown Bonus

  • $150K for 5 rec TD
  • $300K for 6 rec TD
  • $450K for 8 rec TD
  • $600K for 10 rec TD

Current Stats For Shakir: 62 receptions, 650 receiving yards, and 4 touchdowns

The Bills’ receiver room is not the greatest, but the best target that plays wide receiver is Shakir. He needs to focus on catching touchdowns to receive the incentives. Now, the Bills take on the Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles, and New York Jets in the final games, and it is going to be hard for him to get it, especially if the Bills want to ensure their starters get health and rest in Week 18. However, he has a legit shot to get two more touchdowns before the regular season ends.

TE Dawson Knox Bonus Incentives

Knox is an interesting one, as he has three ways to get extra money in the bank. Here are the following incentives he needs to get.

Reception Bonus

  • $100K for 30 rec

Receiving Yard Bonus

  • $100K for 400 receiving yards

Receiving Touchdown Bonus

  • $100K for 4 TD
  • $150K for 6 TD

Current Stats For Knox: 25 receptions, 353 receiving yards, and 3 touchdowns

Knox is a very underrated tight end, but this one will be tricky to get because he is behind Dalton Kincaid. The most likely incentives he is going to get are the receptions, as he gets 2-3 receptions a game, mostly.

DT DaQuan Jones Bonus Incentives

The Bills’ defensive line has been a mess since losing Ed Oliver, but DaQuan Jones has been a solid veteran depth piece on this defense. He, too, has some incentives to keep an eye on.

Sack Bonus

  • $500K for 4.0 sacks
  • $1M for 5.0 sacks

Current Stats For Jones: 9 tackles and 3 sacks

It will be interesting to see if the Bills give more snaps to him or the younger players like Deone Walker and TJ Sanders. However, it’s possible he can get 2 more sacks to get the money.

DE/EDGE Joey Bosa Bonus Incentives

Yes, even ring chasers got incentives in their contracts. In Bosa’s one-year deal, he has some bonuses. Let’s just say some of them are pretty wild when looking deep into them.

Sack Bonus

  • $250K for 6.0 sacks
  • $750K for 8.0 sacks
  • $1.5M for 10.0 sacks
  • $2M for 12.0 sacks

Current Stats For Bosa: 15 tackles & 5 sacks

That $2 million bonus is just insane. It’s too bad Bosa is going to need a miracle to even get close to that number for the next few weeks. He can maybe get a sack or two, but it’s going to be tough to get that many. He could be a secret weapon. Oh well, getting a million for just 3 more sacks is more feasible for Bosa.
