Andrew Kim’s Final 2025 NFL Mock Draft: Shedeur to the Rams?
It is Draft Week, as this is my final first-round mock draft for the 2025 NFL Draft, as there are plenty of shakeups with about 48 hours till Draft Day. The top 10 should be relatively chalk, unless a big trade-up happens, with slight deviations here and there after the top five selections. Now, after that, it is the wild west, as we may see some movement (or lack thereof) on Thursday night in Green Bay.
Top 5 Picks: WR Tet to the Jags to Help TLaw

- Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward- QB- Miami (FL)
- Cleveland Browns: Travis Hunter- WR/CB- Colorado
- New York Giants: Abdul Carter- EDGE- Penn State
- New England Patriots: Will Campbell- OT- LSU
- Jacksonville Jaguars: Tetairoa McMillan- WR- Arizona
The Jacksonville Jaguars seem to be the pivot point, as recent rumblings make it seem to be more of an offensive player like Jeanty or McMillan, more than a defensive player like Graham. While a running back would certainly help, I think Tet would give Liam Coen and Trevor Lawrence their own version of a “Mike Evans” or “Tee Higgins” type player that he is used to throwing to. The Jags’ receiving corps lacks size, and Lawrence can thrive with a player like McMillan in the Coen offense.
- Las Vegas Raiders: Armand Membou- OT- Missouri
- New York Jets: Mason Graham- DL- Michigan
- Carolina Panthers: Jalon Walker- EDGE- Georgia
- New Orleans Saints: Tyler Warren- TE- Penn State
- Chicago Bears: Ashton Jeanty- RB- Boise State
Picks 6-10: Las Vegas Takes OT Membou Over RB Jeanty
This could go either way, but with Kolton Miller potentially holding out for an extension, the Raiders could improve at both tackle spots. Armand Membou from Missouri gives them an athletic bully on the offensive line. While Ashton Jeanty would make a bad backfield instantly better, in most situations, getting a bookend tackle has more positional value than taking a running back this high.
Based on Pete Carroll’s past draft history, he does tend to draft the offensive line first and can protect his new quarterback, Geno Smith, while improving their run blocking at the same time. This running back class is deeper than the tackle class, and with an early second-rounder, that could be where Vegas finds their next franchise ball-carrier.
- San Francisco 49ers: Kenneth Grant- DT- Michigan
- Dallas Cowboys: Matthew Golden- WR- Texas
- Miami Dolphins: Jahdae Barron- CB- Texas
- Indianapolis Colts: Grey Zabel- OT- North Dakota State
- Atlanta Falcons: Mike Green- EDGE- Marshall
Picks 11-15: Miami Replaces Ramsey with DB Barron
With Jalen Ramsey likely moving on from the Dolphins via trade during the NFL Draft, Miami gets their versatile secondary player in Texas’s Jahdae Barron. They also lost Jevon Holland in free agency to the New York Giants. Barron could line up at safety or nickel cornerback.
The Longhorn has the size and speed to provide something similar to what Ramsey did for their secondary. Georgia’s Malaki Starks also fits the bill, but Barron can be more of a full-time corner if need be, potentially on the outside.
- Arizona Cardinals: Josh Simmons- OT- Ohio State
- Cincinnati Bengals: Tyler Booker- G- Alabama
- Seattle Seahawks: Kelvin Banks Jr.- OT- Texas
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jihaad Campbell- LB- Alabama
- Denver Broncos: Omarion Hampton- RB- North Carolina
Picks 16-20: Murray Gets Bookend OSU OT with Simmons
I think Josh Simmons will go earlier than the back end of the NFL Draft, as his process in recovery with his injury has been positive so far. Ohio State left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. was drafted in the first round in 2023, so why not take another tackle and reunite them to form a pair of bookend tackles?
Kyler Murray’s offensive line has seemed to be a problem for a few seasons, and both Johnson and Jonah Williams have had their own injuries in 2024. Simmons won’t have the pressure to play right away at right tackle if need be, and when he does, Williams could slide inside to guard with position versatility.
- Pittsburgh Steelers: Walter Nolen- DT- Ole Miss
- Los Angeles Chargers: Colston Loveland- TE- Michigan
- Green Bay Packers: Maxwell Hairston- CB- Kentucky
- Minnesota Vikings: Malaki Starks- S- Georgia
- Houston Texans: Emeka Egbuka- WR- Ohio State
Picks 21-25: Stroud Reunites with OSU’s WR Egbuka
Even though the Houston Texans desperately need an offensive line, that issue won’t be fixed in one draft. Emeka Egbuka had his best season at Ohio State with CJ Stroud throwing him the ball. This pick has him rejoin his college quarterback, as they lost Stefon Diggs to the New England Patriots and likely won’t have Tank Dell for most, if not all, of 2025 due to a serious leg injury. Nico Collins dealt with his own injuries last season, making receiver one of the top priorities for this draft and 2025.
- Los Angeles Rams: Shedeur Sanders- QB- Colorado
- Baltimore Ravens: Donovan Ezeiruaku- EDGE- Boston College
- Detroit Lions: Mykel Williams- EDGE- Georgia
- Washington Commanders: Nick Emmanwori- S- South Carolina
- Buffalo Bills: Will Johnson- CB- Michigan
- Kansas City Chiefs: Derrick Harmon- DT- Oregon
- Philadelphia Eagles: Shemar Stewart- EDGE- Texas A&M
Picks 26-32: Rams Land Franchise QB after Stafford
The Shedeur Sanders landing spot if he falls out of the top ten and past the Steelers is the biggest wildcard of this draft. While the Los Angeles Rams could be interested in other quarterbacks later in the draft, like Pittsburgh, I think the perfect spot for Shedeur is to pair him up with Sean McVay and let him sit and learn behind a veteran like Stafford. Deion’s son landing in LA makes sense out of the teams that obviously don’t need a starting quarterback, and their roster is pretty well set to prepare for the future.
The Rams have made a living out of building out other roster holes later in the draft. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a team move up back into the first at the end of the round to take him like the Browns, especially if they take Hunter at two. This seems reminiscent of the 2022 NFL Draft with the lack of depth at the quarterback position despite Ward going one.
