New Orleans Saints

New Orleans Saints Defensive End Cameron Jordan announced on X Wednesday night he will return to the team for his 15th season. Jordan is coming off a solid season for the Saints. He had 34 tackles, 4 sacks, and 1 interception.

Jordan is one of the most beloved players in franchise history and will have a Hall of Fame case when he decides to hang up the cleats. He has 716 career tackles, 121.5 sacks, 15 forced fumbles, and 3 interceptions. He is 31st all-time in sacks. Jordan has been named to eight Pro Bowls, has two Second-Team All-Pro selections, and one First-Team All-Pro selection. He also came in fourth in Defensive Player of the Year voting in 2017. Will Jordan continue being able to defy “Father Time” in 2025 with the New Orleans Saints?

New Orleans Saints Offseason Outlook

The Saints had a rough regular season that led to them hiring Kellen Moore as their next head coach. Even with a tenuous salary cap situation, New Orleans has made some solid offseason moves. They signed Safety Justin Reid and acquired Defensive Tackle Davon Godchaux from the New England Patriots. The Saints also re-signed Tight End Juwan Johnson and Defensive End Chase Young.

One of Moore’s first big decisions as Saints head coach was retaining Derek Carr as the team’s starting quarterback. He will have solid weapons including Running Back Alvin Kamara and Wide Receiver Chris Olave. This unit, with Moore pulling the strings, should be strong in 2025.

Final Thoughts

The New Orleans Saints should be a solid team in 2025. Jordan is still one of the best players in the league at his position. He will also provide tremendous mentorship to a roster that has not experienced much success in recent years. Jordan will return for his 15th NFL season. Fans will be watching to see how he performs.
