The Miami Dolphins were ravaged by injuries in 2023. What started out as a promising season ended against the Chiefs in the wild-card round. They had multiple injuries on the offensive line and on defense. The core of the team is still intact, and Mike McDaniel has shown he can coach this team to a winning record. The AFC East is slated to be a tough division in 2024, and the Dolphins need to get some young talent on the roster.
Miami Dolphins 2024 Draft Picks
The Miami Dolphins have six draft picks in the 2024 NFL Draft.
- Round 1: #21
- Round 2: #55
- Round 5: #157
- Round 6: #186 (via Chicago)
- Round 6: #200
- Round 7: #239
The Miami Dolphins lost their third-round pick this year due to the tampering violations around Tom Brady. Their fourth-round pick was given to the Broncos in the Bradley Chubb deal. It leaves the team with limited capital on the first two days of the draft. Still, all it takes is one draft pick to be a star.

Mock Draft Analysis
The Miami Dolphins have a very boring draft, which is what they need. Taking offensive linemen isn’t exciting but they desperately need depth at the position especially if Terron Armstead is sacrificed to the salary cap. Grabbing Powers-Johnson and Javon Foster helps with depth and has upside.
They don’t completely forget about the offense. Erick All is an interesting late round player. He looked like Michigan’s next great tight end before transferring to Iowa. Injuries limited his production but the talent is there. McCaffrey is another speedy receiver who fits well in the offense.
The Miami Dolphins hope the injury bug doesn’t bite them again this year. Unless they do some drastic things in free agency, this squad is mostly counting on better health. They are one of the mosst fun teams to watch in the league and that should continue in 2024.
