Leg 1 of the Champions League fixture saw matches between Man City vs Real Madrid and Arsenal vs Bayern Munich. Although, leaving Madrid clueless, nonetheless, they gave a firm answer by scoring the brace with the help of Rodrygo and Fede Valverde who scored a volley to the far post. But these matches demonstrate the consequences of injuries to crucial players of the Premier League. It might just cost them the Premier League title against Liverpool.
What happened with Manchester City and Arsenal
During the match between Man City and Real Madrid, there was a high level of intensity as both teams were eager to outscore and outclass their opponent. Although, Arsenal’s squad might do well in their next fixtures.
Liverpool’s win-win situation
Liverpool’s absence in the Champions League this year might say a lot due to their bad performance in the last year. Klopp’s men have tied with the Ten hag’s United in their recent match. Although, Liverpool’s chances of winning the league might turn into reality. With Foden, Walker, and Ake out, Man City is their main threat due to the competition between the two big rival clubs.
