Drake London Injury Update: Status of Atlanta Falcons WR for Week 12
The Atlanta Falcons are not doing too well, and things may get worse as wide receiver Drake London left Sunday’s game with an injury. While the Falcons are dealing with potentially a lost season, there is going to be questions regarding the status of their start wide receiver. Let’s take a deeper dive into what we know about Drake London’s status entering Week 12.
Drake London Dealing with Knee Injury

Drake London has been a star for the Atlanta Falcons since being drafted to the team, but it appears that he will be sidelined with a knee injury. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that London suffered a PCL sprain late in the fourth quarter against the Carolina Panthers and will miss at least Week 12.
This is not the only injury that the Falcons suffered as they may have lost starting quarterback Michael Penix Jr for the remainder of the season as well. The loss of Drake London is going to be difficult for the Falcons going forward and this will be a chance for some other wide receivers to shine.
London is in the midst of a career season as he posted 60 receptions on 94 targets for 810 yards (13.5 yards per catch) with six touchdown grabs. However, Atlanta is looking like they will once again miss the postseason as they are currently the 13th seed in the NFC.
The Falcons have the wide receiver under contract through next season as they picked up his fifth-year option for more than $16.8 million in 2026. It will be interesting to see how the Falcons look next week against the New Orleans Saints without one of the top wideouts in the sport.
