The Baltimore Ravens Handled the Miami Dolphins Thursday Night In Shocking Victory
The Baltimore Ravens came into Miami on Thursday night and manhandled the Dolphins, blowing them out 28-6 at home. The Baltimore Ravens got quarterback Lamar Jackson back into the lineup after suffering a hamstring injury. The Dolphins fall to 2-7 on the season.
The Miami Dolphins Woes Keep Coming
The Miami Dolphins seem to keep having trouble in games. Nothing has gone right for them this season, and the speculation that head coach Mike McDaniel is on the chopping block, after losing his job as the Dolphins’ head coach, does not help Miami.
Lamar Jackson threw four touchdowns during the showdown against the Dolphins and shut out the Dolphins 14-0 in the second half of the game. The Dolphins hung in there for a little while when the score was manageable at 14-6 at halftime, but in the end, Miami could not keep up with the Ravens’ offense.
Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel showed apparent frustration on the sideline during the game, and the home crowd let his team hear it with boos as the offense went cold and Baltimore’s run game took over in the second half.
Not only was head coach Mike McDaniel frustrated with the Dolphins, but the running back coach also ripped into Miami Dolphins running back Ollie Gordon after a bad penalty call. The frustration is on all sides in Miami right now.
Miami Dolphin Fans Are Ready for Change
Miami Dolphins fans in the crowd were caught covering their faces with paper bags or empty popcorn buckets, a sign of a fan base ready for change. The Dolphins do have a Week 10 bye to figure things out and rally.
After that, though, come two challenging games against the Buffalo Bills, and then heading to Madrid to take on the Washington Commanders. The Dolphins are 14th overall in the AFC standings and third in their own division, five games out of first place with just eight games left on the schedule.Â
