Rico Abreu Wins Finale and Clinches High Limits Title
Rico Abreu capped off the High Limits season like any champion should, with a win! Clinched his title with a win at the Texas Motor Speedway finale. He’s become the superstar of the series after wowing many people with his talent before. His journey to get here is truly incredible.
High Limits Caps Things Off in Texas
The Texas Motor Speedway is renowned for its NASCAR races and former IndyCar events. Still, in 2025, the track hosted one of the year’s most significant dirt events, the High Limit finale, as all of the High Limit racers filled in for the Bikini Zone All-In Championship Weekend. Abreu himself started 2nd for 1 of the most important races of his career, right beside pole sitter Daryn Pittman. Once No. 24 of Abreu took the lead, he rarely ever looked back.
When he did, it was because the Pittman and the Kreitz Racing No. 69k of Pittman used traffic to catch back up to him. But it was a challenge, with Rico always at ease on his way to clinching the High Limits title and winning the Bikini Zone All-In Championship Weekend along with a $50,000 payday and his 20th overall victory of the season. Although when it comes to his title-winning stats, this was his 13th High Limit victory of the season and made his 25th career trip to Whiskey Myers Victory Lane with Kubota High Limit Racing.
And Rico and the rest of his Curb Agajanian Racing team together had all earned a $250,000 check and, of course, have forever etched their name into the history books as a champion of one of the best dirt racing series ever. And most importantly for 2026, they own the top spot in the High Limit Franchise System. And with Rico Abreu/Curb-Agajanian Racing merging with Tony Stewart’s team for 2026. It makes it that much more important to earn for the next season.
Rico Abreu’s High Limits Title
Rico Abreu has, for years, shown high potential, and now with this High Limits title, he’s let everyone in the dirt racing world know he’s entering his prime. Right as he merged his team with 1 of the most well-respected and successful names in all of dirt racing. Yeah, that’s scary, especially if we go into how truly dominant Rico Abreu was in High Limits this season. With a 22.6% win percentage in his 53 starts, he had 13 wins this year, and with 22 podiums along with 28 top 5s for over a 50% top 5 percentage for the season, he had the consistency of a champion.
Aberu had seven races this season in the High Limits series, where he started from pole and finished 1st for over half his wins that year. Showing the raw pace he’s always had, but again now with the consistency he’s recently developed. Winning at such prestigious tracks as Eldora, Texas Motor Speedway, and Lucas Oil Speedway, some of the most famous or most challenging tracks in all of dirt track racing.
