Chris Bosh Faces Serious Allegations in Employment Lawsuit
Former Miami Heat star Chris Bosh finds himself in legal trouble as his ex-personal assistant takes him and his wife to court over serious allegations. The lawsuit paints a disturbing picture of power and ignored warning signs.
Olga Kirpicheva, who worked for the Bosh family from 2017 until her resignation, filed the bombshell lawsuit in California federal court last month.
What Kirpicheva Alleges Happened
The former Fresno State tennis player didn’t hold back in her complaint. She accuses Chris Bosh and his wife, Adrienne, of creating a work environment so toxic that it left her suffering from “debilitating panic attacks.”
According to the lawsuit, Kirpicheva’s job description extended far beyond typical assistant duties. She handled childcare, cleaning, travel booking, bill paying, and event planning while working more than 40 hours per week without proper meal or rest breaks.
The complaint details how a Bosh family employee and relative allegedly made unwanted advances, including inappropriate comments about physically pressing against her for 20-30 seconds at a time.
The Basketball Camp Incident
Perhaps most damaging to Chris Bosh’s reputation is the alleged incident at his Indiana basketball camp in August 2022. Kirpicheva claims a coach knocked on her hotel room door at 1:45 a.m., supposedly to return rental car keys, then forced his way inside and sexually assaulted her.
The lawsuit alleges she fought back, pushed the attacker away, and immediately tried to report the incident to Bosh. However, she claims the former All-Star deliberately avoided her to maintain “the pretext of ignorance.”
When she attempted to discuss the assault during their travels, Bosh allegedly refused multiple times, even telling her, “There’s not going to be a Monday for me” when she suggested they talk the following week.
Adrienne Bosh’s Alleged Response
The complaint doesn’t spare Chris Bosh’s wife either. When Kirpicheva reported the ongoing harassment from the family employee, Adrienne allegedly “laughed” in response. The lawsuit describes Adrienne’s treatment of Kirpicheva as consisting largely of “yelling,” “screaming,” and “offensive language.”
After Kirpicheva resigned following the basketball camp incident, the couple allegedly locked her out of an Austin apartment they had provided, forcing her to obtain a court order to retrieve her passport, work permit, and other personal belongings.
The Boshes Fight Back
Chris Bosh and Adrienne aren’t taking these allegations lying down. In their September 11 response, they denied all claims and fired back with accusations of their own.
They claim Kirpicheva consented to the alleged harassment, engaged in “employment-related misconduct” and “fraud,” and “abandoned” her personal items at the Austin apartment. They also dispute that any failure to compensate her properly was intentional.
